Senator Kamala Harris announced Tuesday that she is ending her presidential bid and suspending her campaign.
Harris informed her staff Tuesday of her decision to suspend her campaign. She explained she didn’t have the financial resources to continue her run for the White House.
“I’m not a billionaire. I can’t fund my own campaign. And as the campaign has gone on, it’s become harder and harder to raise the money we need to compete,” Harris said in a statement.
With Harris ending her presidential bid, that leaves six candidates qualified for the December 19 debate.
