Police Responding to Active Shooter in Texas

Police say they are responding to an active shooting scene in Odessa, Texas. The city of Odessa told CBS affiliate KOSA there have been 20 people injured.

According to the City of Midland, a suspect shot a trooper in the westbound lanes of I-20 and shot several people afterwards. Authorities are searching for a second suspect who may have taken a U.S. Post Office vehicle.

The nearby UTPB campus has been placed on lockdown. The USPS has recalled its fleet of mail trucks to help police find the suspect.

One individual has been taken into custody, but police believe there is likely another suspect.
