One of Jeffrey Epstein’s alleged victims is speaking out hoping to convince other victims to come forward.
Courtney Wild was once the “unnamed victim” in the 2008 lawsuit against the Department of Justice over the secret plea deal.
He was sentenced to 13 months in jail and the plea deal allowed him to avoid sex abuse and trafficking charges. Wild says Epstein will not get the justice he deserves unless all his victims speak out.
She says if they don’t, he will never stop sexually abusing children.
“In 2008, the U.S. Attorney in Florida gave him a free pass on abusing me and many other victims,” said Wild. “We weren’t even told this was happening and our rights were violated.
“It’s time for the government to do the right thing for me and all the other victims.”
Epstein has pleaded not guilty to the federal sex trafficking charges in New York. A federal judge will decide on Thursday if he should remain in custody or be given bail.
