A South Carolina girl that went missing earlier this week was found dead.
The body of six-year-old Faye Swetlik was found Thursday just four days after going missing. Detectives said Swetlik’s death is being treated as a homicide.
During the search, investigators found the body of a man in the neighborhood. An investigation is underway for that case. Whether the two cases are connected is unknown at this time.
Surveillance cameras captured Swetlik getting off her bus and then disappearing.
Investigators do not have evidence that Swetlik was abducted. An Amber Alert is not triggered unless law enforcement has evidence a child was abducted.
