The annual Mayday Film Festival in Evansville will highlight the life of legendary Harlem Globetrotter, Jumpin’ Johnny Kline.
Kline played for the Harlem Globetrotters during the 1950s and has been inducted into various halls of fame including the Michigan Sports Hall of Fame and the African American Hall of Fame.
Kline is recognized for his work in substance misuse prevention, education, patient rights, and health and wellness promotions.
On May 18th during the Mayday Film Festival, the documentary, “Jumpin’ Johnny: The Incredible True Story of Dr. John Kline, will debut in the Evansville-area.
The film will show at the Showplace Cinemas on South Hebron Avenue at 12:15 pm.
