Joey Paridaen will be the new head football coach at North High School.
Paridaen has stepped down as the Eastern Greene High School head football coach and athletic director after guiding the team to its first-ever football state finals appearance this past season. He was also 34-15 at Eastern Greene.
The Huskies recorded a 2-8 record under former head coach Bret Szabo last season. Szabo stepped down in October.
“Joey is excited to become a Husky and work with our students both in and outside of the classroom,” stated Andy Owen, EVSC Director of Athletics, in a release. “He is an energetic and engaging teacher and coach who comes highly recommended. He also has the passion, knowledge and energy to move North’s football program in the right direction.”
