Government Investigating Multi-State Salmonella Outbreak

The U.S. Government is investigating a multistate Salmonella outbreak linked to frozen tuna.

The CDC and the FDA issued notices about Louisiana based “Jensen Tuna’s” Frozen Tuna after 13 people in seven states became sick, and two were hospitalized.

Jensen issued a voluntary recall for the tuna, which comes from Vietnam. The government says before ordering or buying tuna, consumers should ask where it came from.
