A new app launched by the social media giant Facebook will pay users to share information about which apps they’re using.
The new app is called Study and is different than two previous apps launched by Facebook.
According to Facebook, the new app will collect information about which apps people are using and for how long. The app’s primary purpose is to give the social media giant insight into how people use its competitors’ services.
Facebook says it will not track passwords or account IDs and it will periodically remind people that the app is collecting their data.
The app is available on the Google Play Store.
