Centers for Disease Control and Prevention Lists New Symptoms of Coronavirus

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has added six new coronavirus symptoms, bringing the total number of possible signs of the virus to nine.

Symptoms now listed by the CDC:

  • Fever
  • Cough
  • Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
  • Chills
  • Repeated shaking with chills
  • Muscle pain
  • Headache
  • Sore throat
  • New loss of taste or smell

According to the CDC, these symptoms may appear 2-14 days after exposure to the virus.
