The Toys R Us Mascot Geoffrey The Giraffe is making a comeback this holiday season.
This time in the aisles of Kroger Supermarkets. America’s largest grocery store chain will now be selling brands of toys that used to only be sold at Toys R Us, and Geoffrey will appear in the displays under the Geoffrey’s toy box name. This is just 5 months after Toys R Us shut down all of its stores.
Other retailers are also targeting the toy store’s former shoppers, Walmart and Target are expanding their toy sections while Amazon plans to send out physical toy catalogs to customers.
