An Alabama teen has confessed to shooting and killing all five members of his family.
The Limestone County Sheriff’s Office arrived at the Elkmont home Monday night to find two adults and three children shot. Two were airlifted to the hospital after the shooting but later died from their injuries.
The 14-year-old was “assisting investigators in locating the weapon, a 9mm handgun that he said he tossed nearby,” the Limestone County Sheriff’s Office said in a tweet.
