33 Bodies Recovered After California Vessel Fire, 1 Remains Missing

Over 30 bodies have been recovered after a deadly fire erupts on a diving vessel in Southern California.

After a three-day scuba diving search, 33 bodies out of 34 were recovered Wednesday morning though, one still remains missing.

The victims include high school students, a science teacher and his daughter, a marine biologist and a family of five celebrating a birthday.

Five crew members managed to escape the fire because they were near the top of the vessel.

CBS News reports that DNA will be needed to identify all the victims.
