2017 Ford Explorer Recalled for Sharp Edges on Seat

The 2017 Ford Explorer has been recalled for having seat frames with sharp edges.

A statement was issued by Ford on Friday stating that customers were cutting themselves while reaching between the center console and the power front seat.

There have been 31 reports of injuries as of this time.

Ford dealers have been asked to install flocked tape to the exposed edges to prevent injuries.

The recall affects 338,300 vehicles.
