As winds continue to howl and a low pressure system sits to our west, a Lake Wind Advisory continues until 6pm this evening. We can see gusts up to 40 mph.
We saw our first batch of rain work through the Tri-State this morning. This round of t’storms brought localized torrential rain, winds and small hail. We even saw multiple significant weather advisories and a few severe gusts pop up.
We see a break in the rain at times during the day…but more showers and t’storms will develop along and ahead of a front, bringing more heavy rain, gusty winds and small hail. A marginal risk for the Tri-State continues for today and tomorrow with damaging winds being our biggest concern.
Temperature-wise for today and Friday we will see highs in the 70s and a few low 80s possible. Once the front passes on Saturday we will see mainly 70s a few showers and storms, before things taper off.
