The first official day of summer is here, and we are starting off wet, and below average in some parts of the Tri-State. As a low pressure system works through the Tri-State we continue to see showers and storms spark up. As a surface front continues through this afternoon, ahead of the low pressure, we can see some strong storms and we are in a marginal risk for severe weather with winds and hail being the primary concern.
Highs today in the 80s and tonight we will see overnight lows in the 60s.
We can see a few more scattered showers and storms tomorrow (Friday) before things taper off for your Saturday daytime hours. However, Saturday night we can see more showers and storms spark up, into Sunday.
By next week we will see the temps creep back into the 90s.
