The University of Southern Indiana breaks ground on a brand new welcome center Thursday afternoon. A ceremony was for the groundbreaking of the Fuquay Welcome Center. The $2 million, 6,000 square foot welcome center will be the central point for all campus tours and gatherings.
USI President Linda Bennett says, “A lot of our classroom buildings help us deliver our academic mission. The welcome center helps us to tell the story of that academic mission to more people and to perspective students who might be thinking about is this the right campus for them.”
The project was made possible with gifts from Dan and Janet Fuquay and Old National Bank.
