Partly cloudy skies today with highs in the upper 80s with a few low 90s. Nothing on the radar as of now, but we can see showers spark up tonight with overnight lows in the 70s and a few upper 60s. The biggest concern will be tomorrow.
With a great amount of instability, combined with the heat and humidity, tomorrow we can see some very strong storms bubble up especially Friday afternoon into the Friday night time-frame. We are in a slight and enhanced risk for the Tri-State, with all severe weather elements possible. These storms have the potential for large hail, damaging winds and a tornado or two can’t be ruled out.
Highs Friday will be in the upper 80s and low 90s with overnight lows in the 60s. Saturday will be cooler with temps in the mid to low 80s.
The low pressure system will continue to work through the Tri-State on Saturday and with this system we can see more showers spark up on Saturday with a low severe threat.
