It has been a lovely Thursday as we are seeing a slight break from the oppressive humidity we have been dealing with. With temps in the 80s and dew point temps in the 60s for most of the Tri-State this afternoon, this a a nice break for us.
We can see 80s and a few low 90s for highs, and although hot, feeling a tad bit better. Sunshine for the rest of your day, and clear skies tonight with overnight lows in the 60s and a few 70s.
We will start to see a warming trend for the weekend with low level winds shifting from the south by this weekend, pumping up the heat. This will heat us up and bring up the dew point temps to the 70s. Saturday with highs in the mid 90s and dew point temps back in the the 70s, we can see heat index values return to 100 to 105.
