Sleet and freezing rain mixed into the rain in various of parts of the tri-state .The rain continued through the overnight hours into this morning. There were some ares of ice and slick spots with accidents reported.
Highs today in the upper 30s and low 40s… with the rain tapering off, followed by mostly cloudy skies and areas of drizzle. Tomorrow the 40s continue, with mostly cloudy conditions. Look for areas of fog tomorrow morning as well.
Southerly winds will move in, along with unseasonably warm air Wednesday and Thursday, with limited sunshine and periods of rain. It will feel a bit like Spring, especially on Thursday!
A cold front moves in late Thursday into Friday, along with a low pressure system. As the low pressure works through, we can see areas of snow, and a drop in temps through the weekend.
