Sunshine and highs in the 50s this Thursday afternoon, and overnight lows in the 40s tonight. We will see partly sunny skies tomorrow, as our next system moves in tomorrow night.
Spring is officially here, but you won’t be able to tell this Weekend. A Winter Storm Watch remains in effect from tomorrow night through Saturday early morning. A cold front and low pressure system will work through and bring a wintry mix to the Tri-State. Rain will cross to snow late Friday night. We can see moderate heavy, wet snow. Anywhere from 1 inch for the lower end totals to 4 inches. Travel can be impacted with reduced visibility.
Once the cold front moves through by Saturday and Sunday the temps will be very below average with highs only in the 40s. We do see warmer temps in the forecast by late next week with 60s and 70s on the horizon!
