New charges have been laid out by a Vanderburgh County grand jury against a man arrested and released on attempted murder earlier this year.
Donye Morris was arrested and charged with attempted murder, armed robbery and robbery with serious bodily injury in relation to a shooting in May.
These charges were dropped against Morris on May 18th, and he was released from Vanderburgh County Jail.
He is now facing charges of aggravated battery and battery by means of a deadly weapon.
Morris is currently being held on a $250,000/$25,000 bond and will be back in court for a hearing on August 2nd.
