44News This Morning goes Inside the Community for 44Morning Brief to talk legal tips for if your car is a lemon.
Attorney Bruse Loyd explains that a lemon is a vehicle with a substantial defect. It can’t be fixed after a reasonable number attempt. And you must allow the dealer reasonable repair attempts.
A reasonable attempt means if it is a serious safety defect, it can only require one attempt. If it is not a safety concern but substantial, the dealer may get 3 to 4 chances to fix it. And if your car is in the shop 30 or more days in a year, you could have a lemon.
