Starting off your Thursday with temps in the 30s and 40s around the Tri-State this morning. With high pressure in place, and a south-westerly flow, we see temps closer to average. Highs today in the mid to upper 50s and low 60s for today. We do have a cold front that will swing through the Tri-State area tonight, and by tomorrow back to below average temps. Highs on Friday will only be in our mid to upper 40s, which is well below average.
We will see an upper level low work through on Friday into Saturday and will see showers, especially wide-spread Friday night into Saturday. St. Patrick’s day we can see showers early with Partly sunny skies, and a few isolated showers on Saturday. Temps on Saturday will be split as we have a cold front north and warmer temps in the south, and can see upper 40s to 50s, and in our southern counties, even a few 60s possible, with a warm air mass in place just to the south of the Tri-State area. That front shifts north and by Sunday temps in the 50s and 60s, with sunshine.
