Kim Kardashian West’s insurance company is suing her former body guard for 6.1 million dollars.
After the reality star was infamously robbed at gunpoint in Paris. According to court documents, Pascal Duvier and his company “protect Security” are being sued for negligence and misconduct for the Paris robbery that occurred in 2016. The lawsuit states that 5 armed men, dressed as police, stormed Kardashian’s Paris hotel room, then bound and gagged her as they took 6.1 million dollars worth of her jewelry.
Her insurance paid out the 6.1 million to cover the losses, and now they are seeking that same amount from Duvier and his company. The lawsuit claims Duvier failed to address several security breaches in the hotel, including a missing lock on the front gate to the courtyard of the hotel.
