Come January, Kentucky Republicans will be able to do something they have not done in 95 years. They will have control of the State’s House of Representatives. The split will be 64-to-35 with one race still in question.
Some of the Democrats who lost races Tuesday include Tommy Thompson and Jim Glenn of Owensboro, long-time lawmaker Brent Yonts of Greenville, and Dr. David Watkins of Henderson.
In eastern Kentucky, House Speaker Greg Stumbo also lost his bid for re-election.
