CBS News anchor John Dickerson has been named co-host of CBS This Morning. Dickerson will join Gayle King and Norah O’Donnell on the network’s critically acclaimed and award-winning broadcast.
David Rhodes, President of CBS News, made the announcement on Tuesday.
Dickerson will begin anchoring on Wednesday, January 10, 2018 and will be based in New York.
In 2015, Dickerson took the anchor’s chair on Face the Nation. He joined CBS News in April 2009 as an analyst and contributor to all of the network’s broadcasts and platforms.
Dickerson is also the author of two books and a contributor for the Atlantic.

Dickerson replaces Charlie Rose who was fired in November after several women said he sexually harassed them.
