Dense fog advisory was issued this morning, but has since expired for most of the tri-state. Still some areas of fog and drizzle possible today, as well as tonight as moisture remains trapped due to a low level temperature inversion.
The warmer air makes it way into the tri-state tomorrow and on Thursday. We will see plenty of clouds, with increasing moisture. A few showers can’t be ruled out, especially on Thursday as an area of low pressure works through along with a cold front.
As the front works through Thursday night, the temperatures will drop quite sharply, and we will see a transition of rain into sleet and snow into Friday. The cooler air will be in place with temps in the 20s/low 30s for highs.
