The winter weather advisory continues through 6pm. Currently, temps in the 20s and 30s around the tri-state, with highs today in the low 30s and upper 20s. The snow started this morning, and we can still see a few more inches of snow today. Heavier amounts up to 4″ isolated. The largest of the snowfall amounts falling now through early afternoon..tapering off by this evening/tonight. We also see very strong gusts and windy..gusts up to 25mph!
The wind will play a role through tomorrow. A wind chill Advisory will be in effect from midnight until 11:00am! Cold, arctic air is entering and by tonight wind chills well below zero with highs only in the teens for Tuesday!!
