A morning of 40s and 50s and a few areas of fog. Warmer air continues to make its way through the Tri-State with highs today in the 50s and 60s and that trend will continue tomorrow. Windy conditions today with gusts up to 20mph.
More moisture will be added to the formula tomorrow with widespread rain showers, but there will be some probability for a tricky commute Friday morning as arctic air moves through the Tri-State late Thursday into Friday. We will see temps drop quickly and with that can see the transition of rain to freezing rain to sleet to snow. As of now amounts are looking to be around 1.5 to 2 inches, but as the event gets closer we will continue to update the timing, and snowfall amounts. The temps by Friday will be in the upper 20s and low 30s. Saturday a few isolated snow showers with highs in the 20s. A very cold weekend.
