We saw a few spotty showers develop this morning, but those have since tapered off. We have an ozone alert for today. Members of sensitive groups may experience health effects. If you have asthma, are older, a child, it can irritate the throat and lungs. The air quality alert ends this evening.
This weekend will be hot and humid with highs in the mid to low 90s. It will be a hot and humid weekend and with the heat indices/ “feel like temps” reaching 100 to 105 degrees. Make sure to drink plenty of water and take breaks from the outdoors. We can see partly cloudy to sunny skies on Saturday and Sunday. A few isolated showers or storms can’t be ruled out on Sunday, but a mainly dry and very hot Father’s Day Weekend.
