With it being Easter weekend, many will be hitting the road.
For those traveling, gas prices may be a little higher throughout the Tri-State.
AAA reports that drivers are paying a national average of $2.39 a gallon, which is six cents higher than last week’s gas prices.
This price is also 35 cents higher than this time last year.
The price for a gallon of regular gas is up nine cents from last week in Illinois, up 11 cents in Indiana, and up an average of 15 cents from last week in the state of Kentucky.
