Governor Eric J. Holcomb is directing flags across the state to be flown at half-staff to honor the victims of the tragedy at the Tree of Life Synagogue in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
Flags should be flown at half-staff until sunset on Wednesday, Oct. 31. Gov. Holcomb also asks businesses and residents to lower their flags to half-staff.
The White House also lowered it’s flag to Half Staff on Saturday to honor those victims of the mass shooting. President Trump addressed the shooting during a rally in Murphysboro, IL. saying that “We must stand with our Jewish brothers and sisters to defeat anti-Semitism and vanquish the force of hate.”
The President also called for the death penalty, saying that the suspect must pay the “ultimate price”.
