This morning we started out in the 70s around the Tri-State area. Showers and storms continue to pop up on the VIPIR radar as a a frontal boundary moves through the area. Heavy rain and lightning are the primary concern. Temps this afternoon will be in the low 90s and a few upper 80s with heat index values in the triple digits.
We see temps in the upper 80s and low 90s on Tuesday, with a few scattered showers and storms, especially with daytime heating. For the 4th of July we see a mainly dry day with highs in the mid to low 90s, hot and plenty of sunshine.
